I have spent the last 2 years searching for a lot of land to build a skatepark. Me and the rogueeast crew have over $3,000 in ramps and wood and are willing to keep on repairing and building our ramps. It's sad to see how the community acts towards street riders at the new David dean skate park next to the YMCA. I have emailed with the head of park and rec about how we could have our own skatepark if bikers are not allowed to ride the current one if they have pegs on their bikes. I was recomonmended by parks and rec to bring out ramps ash st skatepark. I expressed how the majority of the younger riders in this area will not go to ash street park due to its location. I have found a basketball court on a dead end street in between the Nashua country club and the Nashua water plant. when I proposed the mass Ave court to park and rec they told me that is the best location for our park all we need is signatures and a well written proposal to the town of Nashua. If all works well the spot will be back and better than ever. A place where every positive influence and rider (bikers, skaters, scooters) will have a safe street style park to ride. We do not discrimate, we do not hate, and we will preserve our lot and ramps. We need you and your signature to make this happen. (This pentition will be presented to parks and rec.)
Parks and Rec thought they could brush us off and ignore our needs but this momentum proves them wrong. We have finally forced them to pay attention to the reality that we are not going anywhere. Keep the pressure on these bureaucrats until they stop gatekeeping our space and let us build.

Ash street is way too sketchy for kids these days. Nashua needs to do better for the youth so they have somewhere safe to go after school.

The way they treat us at David Dean is garbage. We just want a place to ride without some old guy yelling at us to take our pegs off. Let us build.

Let’s get a park to ride by bikers! Everyone should be able to ride together at the same park. There isn’t street style parks around and this would be so awesome

I agree the bike, scooters and etc.. should also be a safe place to enjoy.. I always told my son not to go near Ash park because of the neighborhood... and this was when he was a teenager.. I fully support my son and his friends in this.. the younger generation should have a safer place to ride... considering the the town tore down the old park and replaced it to not allow all riders to enjoy a safe location...
