We, the staff and community members of SPARK Midrand Primary School, urgently petition for the repair of the hazardous potholes on Alsatian and Ridge Road, which directly impact our school. These potholes pose serious safety risks to our scholars, parents, and staff who travel these roads daily. The deteriorating road conditions are causing damage to vehicles and increasing the likelihood of accidents. We urge the relevant authorities to address this issue promptly to ensure the safety and well-being of our school community and the general public.
I am writing to express my concern about the ongoing issue of potholes on the street leading to my son’s school. These potholes not only cause significant delays during drop-off and pick-up times but, more importantly, they pose a serious safety risk to both the children and parents. Every day, I witness cars swerving dangerously to avoid these potholes, which puts pedestrians, especially the children, in harm’s way. My child’s safety is my top priority, and I worry constantly about the risk of an accident occurring on our way to or from school. I am joining other concerned parents in signing a petition to call for urgent repairs to the road. Fixing these potholes will not only improve traffic flow but will significantly reduce the danger posed to families and the community.
