Ventura county and all of Southern California is struck by fires currently. Smoke and fires worry everyone. Emotional and physical trauma causes stress for everyone! Most people have been evacuated and some people, like me, have lost their homes. Education is a very important thing in our society but so is the safety of our youth! I do not think we should be going to school until the fires are out with everything that has happened. We need to cancel school and let kids, teens, and young adults be safe with their family in case another fire is to start and just because family needs to stay together in this time of need. PLEASE HELP ME Cancel Ventura College School for Finals till AFTER we are safe from the Thomas Fire!!!

finals need to be postponed or become take home. I am not in the right mind to even sit and study let alone go to class.

I like the idea someone had about instead of doing finals, turning it into a get together to help people affected by the fire.
