I spent the entire morning staring at the city budget and the sheer amount of wasted money is just mind boggling. People keep messaging me with their own horror stories about these tax bills and I honestly think we are finally hitting a breaking point in this town.

I honestly cannot stop checking my phone because the speed of this response is just wild honestly and it really goes to show how fed up everyone is with these city bills. It feels like the tide is finally turning on those ridiculous tax hikes and honestly I am just trying to process the fact that so many people are feeling the exact same frustration I have at the kitchen table every single month.

My property tax bill is getting higher every year while my pay keeps staying the same. Portsmouth needs to stop spending our money like it grows on trees.

57% is crazy. i cant afford to live in my own house anymore at this rate.
