I spent the afternoon walking the perimeter of the proposed site and remembering the smell of smoke from the fire that took so much from us years ago. We are currently compiling the traffic reports and school density data requested by the planning commission to show them exactly why these hills are too dangerous for new construction.

Seeing this kind of movement confirms that my neighbors share my deep anxiety about these hills. I remember watching those fires creep toward our backyards and knowing that more houses only means more danger for our families.

Ridiculous to build in a known fire zone. My family lost everything in 08 and we dont need to repeat that nightmare.
traffic is already a nightmare on Yorba Linda Blvd. adding 500 homes is just asking for a disaster when the next fire hits.
Please protect our community. Those of us who live here know exactly how dangerous those hills are in fire season.
KEEP THE HILLS CLEAR. We already saw what happens when the wind picks up and the brush catches. Stop the greed!
Our schools are packed enough as it is. Leave the hills alone.

the roads cant handle it. plain and simple. emergency vehicles will never get through if everyone is stuck in construction traffic
