the developers just announced they are pulling the project entirely. im honestly still in shock that we actually stopped this thing but we did it. thank you for showing up for our neighborhood and keep an eye out just in case they try anything else down the line.

Final supporters
We, the undersigned, oppose the current development concept proposed by Stonegate Group for the property of 45 E.Central St. in Natick, MA.
The plan calls for tearing down St Patrick's School, the brick building at 5 Wilson St and two houses on Lincoln St to construct 54 high-end condominium units with 170 underground parking spaces and retail along E. Central St.
The scale of this project is much too large and dense for this lot and location. A development of this size would overwhelm the neighborhood as well as add too much traffic to an already congested area through downtown. It would also be a burden on our over-crowded schools and town services. The way the buildings go up to the street on all three sides with very little setback takes away from the openess of the downtown and the neighborhood of single and two-family homes behind it. In light of the many recent building developments that have been built and still more proposed in Natick we are concerned about the increased density in the area and the scale of this project. We wish to preserve the historical integrity, character and openness of the downtown and neighborhoods that we love. We are asking for responsible development that fits into the community without overwhelming it, and ask that you do everything you can to stop or scale down this project.

Very disappointed to hear condos will replace this landmark in Natick. I enjoyed many happy memories attending St. Patrick's Scool. This project is too large for this small area and will only cause more traffic problems for the town of Natick!
If housing units need to be built in that neighborhood, the bricks should be used to blend in with the other Natick buildings. Senior housing would be a better fit for that location! I do not agree with this horrendous proposal ... Natick is loosing the Town charm.
2016 budget is already insufficient. Mo more development until a solid plan is developed that generates more revenue than expenditure per resident. Also need to respect the integrity and character of the Natick Center Historic & Cultural District.
Please consider the enormity of this project and how it effects EXISTING residents. Too much, this has to stop. Lower scale please!! How many existing residents or people that grew up in Town have to leave before you realize you are turning our "town" into a "city"?
the children in the Avalon apartments by Home Depot are being sent to Lilja. Class sizes are too large for resources. We need to plan school systems before creating ANY more housing in Natick. Please stop reckless unplanned housing growth!!!

Unfortunately, for the town of Natick ,it's too late. The over development of Natick center is a shame. How nany more people can we cram in here. Real shame. Used to be a Town , rural. Now it's an over crowded congested city. Try driving thru town , it'd a 45 minute ordeal. Bumper to bumper on 135.

Natick center does not need more condos. Natick center has more than enough surrounding residents to provide ample business to the center's businesses. Rt 135 and the Natick train stop are congested enough during current commuting times.
