Please Stop the Development Plan at 45 E. Central St

Please stop the over development of Natick!

Unfortunately, for the town of Natick ,it's too late. The over development of Natick center is a shame. How nany more people can we cram in here. Real shame. Used to be a Town , rural. Now it's an over crowded congested city. Try driving thru town , it'd a 45 minute ordeal. Bumper to bumper on 135.

This is unnecessary and will destroy the suburban tranquility that we all enjoy in our town. This will also take away water resources and raise town taxes unnecessarily. All who love NATICK should oppose this!

Natick is my home town and I have seen it become terribly overdeveloped. The last thing the town needs is another condo complex. Keep the building as a school or perhaps an historical museum/public land use.

This town is too congested! Keep what we have and maintain it!!!

I wrote to Martha White with concerns about development and traffic congestion and overcrowding schools. Trying to travel down rate 27 to downtown is almost impossible from 3 pm past rush hour. Never heard a response but we should learn from other towns who overdeveloped and couldn't turn back.

This is too large for downtown and will negatively impact the town. It is not keeping with the historical integrity and character of the neighborhood.

Very disappointed to hear condos will replace this landmark in Natick. I enjoyed many happy memories attending St. Patrick's Scool. This project is too large for this small area and will only cause more traffic problems for the town of Natick!

How much was the check Stonegate wrote to the town so they could maximize every square inch of St Pats school regardless of zoning bylaws? I believe the talk around town that Natick “officials” are slipping on the ethical tightrope between following town bylaws vs. collecting thousands of dollars through a “fund” that builders pay into that enables builders to either ignore or get around zoning bylaws. The money is supposedly funneled into buying open space for the town, but it only works if people that frequent TCAN and the banks and resturants downtown don’t mind parking on Pegan Hill and walking from there. There was a article in the newspaper last January about the plans to develop the former Amvet building in which planning board member Julian Munnich was quoted as stating that under zoning rules the project should have eight spaces for the restaurants. Instead the developer can pay $20,000 per space into a fund in lieu of providing the actual spaces the bylaw calls for. When it came up that $20,000 mightn't be enough, Munnich noted the developer could decide to pay more money into the fund. Does this sound like bribery to anyone else? The people of Natick have to demand that the town be transparent with these “funds” We should know; Who specifically is paying into these funds, How much they are paying, What favors they are getting in return and Where the money thats collected is going. It should be public and town meeting should have the right to rescind inappropriate fund transfers retroactively. Leave it to Natick to make “pay offs” legal. We ought to get together and write a letter asking the Attorney General’s office to look at this money trail

I have lived in Natick all my life and now that I work in the school systems, I see exactly what all of these new developments are doing to our town! There are 26 children in first grade classes because there's no where else for them to go! People come to Natick for their children's education but it is being destroyed with these new developments. We have had enough!

Just say no!! More is not always better!!

Preserve Town Centre, focus on needs of schools & all other necessary town services. Slow down development --till an overall plan is in place.

I have lived in Natick for 15 years and am disheartened by all the development happening in town. This leads to demand on resources, our schools and increases traffic congestion. Though Natick has been a wonderful place for us to live and raise our children, we will not be staying in Natick long term if the town continues to go in this direction. :( :( :(

this project is too big for Natick

we are fast losing our town . We are No longer a suburb , we are a city. It's a shame . The development or over development of our town should be stopped. Drive through Natick center on a Saturday, it's awful. And the effects of that building near Natick labs hasn't even started , yet. It's a shame. The town will never be the same again. No more . Needs to stop. As far as the s schools, I think the new high school has been deemed too small for the growth of the town. Not to talk about the strain on the hospital and fire and Police stations. STOP

Lived in Natick for 24 years. I wouldn't want to see this change to downtown.

Way too much traffic in this area already.
