We are strongly against the proposed conversion of a traditional 3 bedroom semi detached house to 2 dwellings,as well as the proposed double storey rear extension.

Every house in Selwood Road remain as "traditional" houses, they are all of the same style and are all in keeping with the surrounding roads, and the addition of an extra side door is not in keeping with this.We also feel that The application plans are misleading as they show the " existing" elevations as they would be built against planning application A2015/72806/HHA.

This gives the impression that 21 Selwood Road already has a double side extension and single rear extension.

The extra dwelling would also add to the already problematic parking problems, in that there is only 1 parking space for 2 dwellings which may contravene regulations.

The rear double extension and proposed dormer roof window combined will also cut the light out considerably to the immediate neighbouring properties no 19 & 23, as well as no 17.

We have also noticed that the rear outbuilding that is currently being erected (we were not informed of the original plans) is overbearing in size and is completely out of character to the rest of the gardens. From the neighbouring properties the view has completely changed, from seeing a nice array of gardens along the road to seeing a large building and seeing nothing beyond

The reach of this petition has grown significantly and confirms that our concerns regarding the development at 21 Selwood Road are widely held. This momentum provides a strong foundation as we prepare to present our case to the planning department.

I am against all the planning applications for this property. This is a quiet residential street of traditional properties. The planning application to convert this property into 2 separate properties are not in keeping with the current accommodation within this pleasant road. It will also impact on the already difficult parking problems and dramatically affect the light to the neighbours houses and gardens immediately surrounding this property.

I strongly recommend that the council visit the site and check out what is being done against the proposed plans. Dave Dowdeswell

I live at no 18 Selwood Road I am against the planning application to convert the existing house to 2 dwellings as this will not be in keeping with the rest of Selwood Road. Also the possibility of extra vehicles will add to the already bad parking situation as there is only provision for 1 vehicle.

This application is not in keeping with the character of the street, and the building in the garden is an eyesore now, which will become worse when it is finally inhabited as from the look of it, that is obviously it's intended use. Also has no one visited the site, as the plans do not match the existing dwelling, lastly, if I provide cycle parking, will I be allowed to utilise all available floor space for my dwelling. What ever happened to the garden.

The proposed plans would not be in line with the character of the street, and would add to parking congestion that at times is a serious issue.
