We the undersigned are enraged and demand a public apology from the Argus for their inaccurate article entitled ‘Last moments of Shoreham death crash pilot’ http://www.theargus.co.uk/news/9804057.Last_moments_of_Shoreham_death_crash_pilot/ and their reporter Anna Roberts who wrote it; and also the BBC for their web article entitled ‘Shoreham Airport: Report Into Fatal crash’ http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-sussex-18751848 We seek not just a public apology but request disciplinary proceedings against those who sanctioned the inaccurate reporting of an accident involving Mr Alan Weal on 4th July 2011. Both the BBC and the Argus have a duty to report facts, NOT opinion. Neither the BBC nor the Argus has bothered to read the relevant reports into the on-going investigation. There has as yet been no inquest, and until that has happened then there should be no discussion of the opinions of misinformed persons. Mr Alan Weal was my brother-in-law, both his daughters and his grand-children are distraught and deeply upset by the tone and inaccuracies of these so-called reports.
