We the undersigned feel that the Pine City Exit on Route 328 should be studied and changes made to make sure said intersection is safer, do to the high number of accidents, and near accidents that have occured there. There are too many signs and poles in the island and they are too close together. The area should be uncluttered. Signs that are necessary should be spaced and put back further so as to not obstruct there views of the intersection from any direction. Too many people have been INJURED and KILLED at this intersection.
Please thank those whom are responsible for putting up the second "STOP" sign and adjusting the origional one. It's greatly appreciated, but more needs to be done. Maybe Rumble Strips, or even painting "STOP" on the pavement at the intersection. Both of those ideas would save injuries, and deaths.
In fact I think that if they changed to speed limit on SR 328 from the city line all the way to the Pennsylvania border to 45mph it would stop a lot of injuries and even deaths at all intersections on that portion of SR 328. There have been serious accidents at all intersections on that highway. At Cedar St., the Bulkhead exit, The Pine City exit, the intersection where Pennsylvania Ave. crosses SR 328, and also Sagetown Road exit. There have been way too many accidents on SR 328, with several serious injuries, and even some deaths, because of poor visability, and speed. Let's keep people safer and alive.
That intersection is a nightmare honestly. I drive it every day for work and have seen way too many close calls. Something needs to change before more people get hurt.

SO DANGEROUS. Please lower the speed limit at least. It is way too fast for all those exits.
