Wouldn't a public golf course make the City money? The City bought Avondale Mill's land without a plan!!!!
It's sad Pell City can't have a 18 golf course - country club ...
We need to keep Pine Harbor and bring it back to it's glory days.

I agree that the city should "step out on a limb" here and take this on! We NEED this, especially if the clubhouse would be improved, which would be wonderful for wedding receptions, parties, other events. If priced fairly, but with enough of backbone to keep OUT those who might abuse it, I really think it would work for the city! Might set a precedent: Make money!
