Reaching this level of support confirms that I am not the only one frustrated by these design changes. It has been an exhausting road so far but seeing this many people push back gives me the energy to keep going.

I need the LANC port for my tripod remote when filming weddings. Without it the camera is useless for my workflow.
This is ridiculous. Removing pro features from consumer gear just forces us to jump brands. Fix it sony.
bring it back pls. not everyone wants to touch the screen while recording.
Used Sony for years but if this port is gone on the new stuff im going canon. plain and simple.
WHY SONY WHY. STOP TRYING TO MAKE US BUY THE EXPENSIVE CINEMA LINE JUST FOR BASIC CONTROLS

So frustrating. LANC is essential for steady shots when mounted on a crane. Please keep this feature.
