PAL customer affected due to COVID-19
Philippines government just issued a community quarantine in Manila starting on the date of March 15 until April 14, PAL on their website statement said “ Philippine Airlines is compelled to cancel domestic flights to/from Manila while maintaining international operations.” Citizens of the Philippines from other countries that are traveling to Manila on the dates of community quarantine are advice to stay in the vicinity of Metro Manila. Does everyone whose affected see the problem here? Most or everyone affected DO NOT live in Manila or have a place to stay in Manila, I’m one of those affected too with an 8 years old and 1 year old daughter. Here are the problems
1. Refund is not an option because the airline itself didn’t cancel the flight.
2. Agency like mango tours from US is charging rebooking fee but Philippine Airline website says that there is a “one time free rebooking” but there is always a catch. Visit Philippine Airline website to read more.
3. I know that they are probably busy, but the phone number they have either gets disconnected or no answer at all.
4. They are willing to risk international flight passengers to land in Manila!
