Petition#2 to Preliminary Application SPA/4/2019 re: Rezoning/Service Station
We,friends and neighbors of the residents and homeowners in South Westridge Estates, are opposed to the preliminary application SPA/4/2019 for the rezoning of approximately 23 acres of land at the junction of John F. Kennedy Drive and Munnings Road for the purposes of creating four commercial lots, one of which is intended for a service station, and one multi family residential lot.
We respectfully request that this rezoning application be denied due to the negative impact it will have on our wetlands, our wildlife, and our community and ask that the existing zoning remain in place..

The emails I received this week confirm that the threat to our local wetlands is the top concern for everyone in South Westridge Estates. Please call your district representative today to demand they block the rezoning application. We need to keep the pressure on until the decision makers hear us loud and clear.

The traffic is already crazy at that junction. This is a bad idea for everyone living in Westridge.
Keep our neighborhood residential. We dont need more gas stations here especially near the wetlands.
There are more than enough service stations in the immediate area.

WE DO NOT APPROVE OF ANY COMMERCIAL.DEVELOPMENT IN OUR NEIGHBOURHOOD. THIS WILL LEAD TO INCREASE TRAFFIC , CRIME AND GARBAGE POLLUTION IN OUR AREA WHICH WE DID NOT INVEST 100s OF THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS TO ENDURE WHEN WE BOUGHT INTO SOUTHWESTRIDGE ESTATES AND NEIGHBOURING AREAS.
I am against this zoning change.
