I have been busy reaching out to council members to ensure they hear exactly why this park remains a vital part of our neighborhood. The stories you have shared in the comments are truly the only reason they are forced to listen to us at all.

what about natural drainage, the more we build the more chance of flooding. bloody disgusting. p.s if they do sell the money wont be spent on anyone in the area, wonder where it goes mmmm ???????
allow the locals their green space. There is plenty of derelict land near to the area, why not use that instead?
The park is also used for dog walking, this is again the only bit of land left for you to be able to walk your dogs, I do have a dog and so does my other two neighbours we all go across the park and all of the dogs play together, again lovely to watch, everyone that uses the park to walk their dogs are regulars and know each other and dogs.
The park is the only park that is left for children to play on, if this park was sold and houses were built, children would have to cross two main, busy roads to get to the closest park, the marsh. Please don’t let them build yet more houses that people at this time can not afford to buy and live in, they have build enough houses at the side of us, the new site on the Asda bypass, why do they need more houses, so they sit empty? Just like them horrendous apartments they built in Maybank on the main street, they sit empty but then again I wouldn’t want to live there either.
This land should stay as it is, for it is very much used by the local residentsand to build houses is such a disgrace. Have we suffered enough by having the housing estate og Wulstan Grange built close by to take public greens away from locals!!!!!!!

This land has been used by the public for well over 60 years as a public space for all to use, myself included when I was a child over 50 years ago. It with other public spaces should be preserved and conserved for other generations to use and enjoy!!!
