This petition is aimed at getting the website called "StubHub" shut down. The reason behind this petition is that when tickets go on sale for a popular band or big sporting event TicketMaster is usually the website that sells the tickets charging at lease 15 dollars in convenience fees. Programs have been made that make it so scalpers can get a substantial amount of tickets at one time before a real fan could ever have a chance to buy them. These scalpers than charge up to ten times the face value for these tickets on "StubHub" which is owned by TicketMaster. When you buy tickets on "StubHub" you are charged more fees which go to TicketMaster again. I believe without "StubHub" the demand from scalpers would go down making it possible for real fans to get a shot at getting tickets at face value.
We are approaching the first hundred signatures. Keep pushing so we can show how many people are fed up with these fees.

Tickets purchase scanned as "Invalid" at the venue - Forced to Pay 2x the price last minute. Stubhubs customer service purposefully ignores customers/trying to help when customers are STUCK AT THE VENUE.

They sent an email suggesting we also list on viagogo, their other site. Tickets sold on both, now we are paying big time, losing our tickets, and they keep tons of money for all this. Complete scam, should be illegal. There need to be laws against this.

They are the definition of false advertising. Got worse tickets than we purchased without any compensation for the Eras Tour. The original tickets we purchased were in front of the stage. The tickets they gave us as "garunteed fan protection" were behind the stage. How is that legal?

Tried at 12:01 PM to buy Pearl Jam tix, for Wells Fargo in Philly. Put in virtual waiting room, for almost a hour. After many tries, then told the seats I preferred weren't available. Over n over, even today. Sat. Others sites have plenty of seats, if you're willing to go broke to see your favorite group!!!

I think it's time something was done about Stubhub and their scandalous business practices. I can't afford to take my son to sporting events in the San Francisco area because of them.

Allowing scalpers to purchase a mass amount of tickets and sell them at higher prices for their own monetary gain is despicable. Fans should have the priority to purchase tickets, and not be forced to buy tickets at ridiculous prices the same day that tickets went on sale.

StubHub represents what’s wrong with America. Many people and businesses trying to make money for providing nothing (no real product or service).
