The complaint is as follows: Elton John fans across the U.S. are outraged at the outrageous cost & price gauging of tickets to the Elton John:Farewell Yellow Brick Road Tour. We as loyal & dedicated Elton John fans DEMAND that TicketMaster & Management for Elton John take immediate action to correct this issue. Elton John fans deserve better than this! This is a top-down problem that started with EJ's management (and, hence, Elton John) basically blowing off the fans for the sake of permitting an out-of-control supply & demand model to line the pockets of scalpers... Shame on Elton and his entire organization~
Elton, with these prices, you'll need binoculars to find the fans in the audience. Reasonable prices please or we'll have VIPs and business people on the first rows and not fans, hence lame concerts.

BUT,GARTH BROOKS HAD CONTROL OVER HIS TICKET PRICES. MOST TICKETS ARE GOING TO SCALERS AND TICKETMASTER 3 PARTY WEB SITE. I WANT ELTON TO MAKE MONEY. I ALSO WANT THE TRUE FANS TO BE ABLE TO GO.
I've been a fan since the early seventies. A paying member of Elton John.com until may of 2016. I am heartbroken that because of the prices of tickets, I saw a floor seat for $10000, that I will have to miss the most important concert of my lifetime!
Scalpers are taking advantage of this being Elton's farewell tour. They are trying to rule our wallets and break our hearts. Us long-time fans (in my case, 1976) want to properly hinor and say farewell to someone who has been such an important part of our lives for so long. But thanks to the scalpers, it's impossible. I love Elton dearly. I am heartbroken.
I even signed up early and still had to pay ridiculous prices.
Elton... come on. This is how you honor your fans... the prices are way too expensive. Hope this reaches you and you can make a change.

Wait-listed for pre-sale. I had Ticketmaster open for an hour prior to on-sale. Not 10 seconds in were there any standard tickets left. I payed a stranger for my tickets, 7 times the initial value. The venues may have sold out, but it was not Elton John's fans who purchased them.
