Greedy people needs to go. It not a HOA and we shouldn’t be force to pay the fee. From 50 to 175 in 5 years raise is absurd!
We moved here to this wonderful, beautiful, peaceful, historic area to get away from malicious politics. And now I am so sadden and disappointed in the way certain board members abuse the freedom we used to enjoy.
When you ask to see any paperwork ie... The financials you are told they are not official. But they are official enough for the board members. I have only attended one meeting, but it's because they change the dates without notice. Then they post what a great meeting they had. This needs to change. If you truly want things to change, Don't buy the keys. Give them a united front. Let's get them under control
The residents of this community have to faith or belief the current board members have our community's best interest at heart. The board members who were at the Saturday town hall meeting were simply rude, disrespectful, and attempted to be demeaning to speakers voicing their concerns and they obviously did not take into consideration any of the ideas presented. If you want to live in an HOA go find a city. We are a POA, which means our first priority is the well-being of the land, rivers, and springs. If the board is so hard up for money why waste it on cheap hot dogs and ice cream when folks gather themselves if they want to cookout at a park on the river? Karma always comes back to you and y'all are going to find her to be unpleasant.
We need a board to that avoids frivolous expenses and focus on simply providing safe access to the rivers period, to lower current fees as to allow property owners to join and be able to simply access the river.
I am not in favor of an HOA now and forever. Current board needs to step down due to their abused of their position clearly visible to everyone.
Yes this board needs to go.

We own property there and never wanted an HOA. But besides that I would like to see access for the disabled which I believe they are not following ADA either. Many of our residents are elderly and it's a real slap in the face that they don't have the accommodations.
