We, the undersigned, are concerned citizens who urge our leaders to act now to oppose the rezoning of the +/- 12.640 acre parcel (LL 852, 877, 878 in the 15th district 2nd section; Tax Map 15N17, Parcel 001, Cherokee County, Georgia)

AGAINST - there are 2 other CHRYSLER dealers within 10 miles and 2 others who failed on Hwy. 92 after the closed and devalued the area. Other choices wanted, not another car dealership when Hwy. 92 has room for them and so does Canton. This will ONLY make the area less valuable and hurt the homeowners and real businesses that are around them
I’m strongly against the car dealership on Ridgewalk Parkway. When we bought our house it was supposed to be a mixed use community. It’s quickly becoming Barrett Pkwy. We don’t want to move
No to the dealership and in my opinion it would be a terrible location for a dealership from their prospective. Ridgewalk Pky is walkable for a lot of residents. We need more suitable shops, restaurant, services, etc. at this location.
As a resident that lives off of Ridgewalk Parkway, I strongly oppose this rezoning application. We do not want Ridgewalk to become a strip of car dealerships/a mini Barrett Parkway. There are enough dealerships nearby (less than 15 minutes away!), we don't need any more.
The infrastructure is not in place to handle the additional traffic. Weekends are already a miserable affair getting in and out if my community and this will compound the issue. This will be opposed vigorously.
Please do not allow this dealership to be approved. It takes away from the “boutique” reputation Woodstock has worked so hard to build. I understand the tax revenue that comes with this type of business, however I feel it will hurt our home values and open the door to other commercial businesses that ruin the aesthetics and appeal of Woodstock. The dealership will draw in more non-local traffic which inevitably will increase travel times and increase the crime rate. Also, constant test drives around the area and in nearby neighborhoods will make it much more dangerous for children and pedestrians. (I did read the part that said test drives and employees will be limited to using a certain entrance and route and in theory this sounds great, but will nearly impossible to enforce over time) There are so many alternatives that will generate similar revenues, preserve Woodstock’s charm, and have the community’s support.
I can’t turn a blind eye to this community black eye... #metoo

I am highly opposed to any car dealerships, or any more commercial building, along Ridgewalk Parkway. Traffic is already horrendous and the Costco opening will make it even worse. Plus, car dealerships don't do anything for property values except lower them. Please just say NO.
