The school board thought they could bury this requirement and ignore our lives, but the sheer momentum behind this movement proves they are wrong. Administrators are finally feeling the heat because you refused to stay silent about this broken system.

I think the government needs to lessen the community service hours because certain organzations/businesses not doing nothing right now during the covid-19 pandemic and some of us will be graduating next year and nobody is hosting a clean up or something to offer no community service hours
It’s rough at this time due to what’s going on in today’s world I think it’s best that the hours should be taken out because we can’t get to do what was set because of how many people are allowed at places and not everyone will have transportation to the different areas. It’s not fair for everyone
Honestly at this time we are in with this pandemic it’s hard for us to go out and get hours because of the social distancing as well we can’t do anything so please do the right thing and not let us continue with these hours because it’s hard at this point and the school year is almost over so don’t keep back students when they know they pass just because they ain’t finish there hours that’s just not fair at this point. It’s not our fault now this is happening.
I dont like how we can only get 30 hours from one job area, i might like the place that im getting my hours from and might not want to leave but i have to, and i dont like how if we do stuff that we thing is community service worthy we hear its not and then have to go look for hours to fill that spot
It’s to much hours for us students to complete while having to finish class assignment and even with this virus going around
Abolish them
The virus is out, no one is willing to let us in their places just to get community hours. So is best we cancel it

Due to the circumstances we’re facing right now, I think completing 120 hours of community service is unrealistic. Most businesses are currently sceptical about who they allow inside their facilities, so allowing students to volunteer would be extremely risky. I strongly believe that reducing the hours or removing them completely would be both beneficial to students, schools and businesses because, it would reduce the risk of contracting COVID-19 and the risk of increasing the virus spread throughout our communities.
