This petition is for the students. For all of those who believe that an honors diploma would be more achievable/better/more reachable if the required credit amount was lowered from 12 credits to 10. This petition strives to do that. We urge students to sign this for your own benefit, and the benefit of your classmates.

Listening to other students talk about how their honors is going, it sounds like the program is building more stress than it is good habits.
I agree, it is absolutely ridiculous that they expect growing, hormonal teenagers to handle extra homework as it is but asking us to do an extra project that's size varies from teacher to teacher is outrageous.
Experience should definitely be a top priority over desk-sitting education.

Honors is a stressful thing man lol. I think this is a great topic and I can't wait to see if it works out to make things easier on honors students. Good luck!
