Rape epidemic has taken a drastic leap in Bangladesh. We need to raise our voices now, enact new laws and enforce the law to stop its spread. Our 7 points
1. Ensuring the maximum punishment is death by reconsidering the rape law.
2. Establish a separate trial tribunal for rape or crime and create a process to complete the trial within 30-60 working days.
3. Free treatment of rape victims and compensation to the family.
4. Formation of separate task force of police to prevent rape in districts.
5. Formation of moving CCTV on secluded streets.
6. Judgement in all previous rape cases to be given within 6 months.
7. To take legal action if any rape or crime is sheltered with the help of the party.
বাংলাদেশে ধর্ষণ মহামারী আকার ধারণ করেছে। এর বিস্তার বন্ধ করতে আমাদের এখনই আওয়াজ তোলা, নতুন আইন প্রণয়ন এবং আইনের প্রয়োগ প্রয়োজন । এই স্মারকলিপিটিতে সই করে বাংলাদেশে ধর্ষণ রুখে দেয়ার জন্য ৭ দফা দাবির প্রতি সমর্থন প্রদর্শন করুন। আজ যদি ধর্ষণের বিরুদ্ধে কার্যকারী পদক্ষেপ না নেন তাহলে হয়তো কাল এই মহামারি আপনার ঘর ও উজাড় করে দিতে পারে।
আমাদের ৭ দফাঃ
১। ধর্ষণ আইন পুনঃবিবেচনার মাধ্যমে সর্বোচ্চ শাস্তি মৃত্যুদণ্ড নিশ্চিত করা।
২। ধর্ষণজনিত ঘটনা বা অপরাধের জন্য আলাদা দ্রুত বিচার ট্রাইব্যুনাল গঠন এবং ৩০-৬০ কারযদিবসের মাঝে বিচার সম্পন্ন করার পক্রিয়া তৈরি করা।
৩। ধর্ষিতার বিনামূল্যে চিকিৎসা এবং পরিবারকে ক্ষতিপূরণ প্রদান ।
৪। জেলায় জেলায় ধর্ষণ প্রতিরোধে পুলিশের আলাদা টাস্কফোরস গঠন।
৫। নির্জন রাস্তায় সচল সিসিটিভি গঠন।
৬। পূর্ববর্তী সকল ধর্ষণ মামলার রায় ৬ মাসের মধ্যে প্রদান করা।
৭। দলীয় মদদে কোন ধর্ষণকে বা অপরাধকে আশ্রয় দেয়া হলে আইনানুগ ব্যাবস্তা গ্রহন করা।

We want to walk along the streets without having to carry pepper spray or blades or knives with us just to be safe. We want a rape free country. We want the culprits to get punished. Stop rape culture. Don't be inhuman anymore.
Rape is something worse than a crime and the monsters who commit this henious act must me sentenced to death. But it will not be enough, we need to educate our children from a young age about sex and what is CONSENT. We need to produce real men.
A person found guilty of a heinous crime like rape deserves Death penalty at any cost. The culprit just cannot be spared under any circumstance. Please for the sake of ensuring true justice to the women of our country, make sure the rapists get their deserving lifetime punishment.
I want to feel safe when my mom is out for shopping all alone, my eldest sister who is a doctor is outside for work,when my other sister who is a varsity student is waking back home all alone,when my female friends are going home from tutions. I bloody want to feel safe

Rape is one of the most terrible crimes on earth and it happens every few minutes. The problem with groups who deal with rape is that they try to educate women about how to defend themselves. What really needs to be done is teaching men not to rape. Go to the source and start there.
