DAMINI - JUSTICE WILL PREVAIL! WOMEN, YOUR SILENCE WILL NOT PROTECT YOU!
A 23 year old girl from Dehli lost her battle to life and sadly passed away yesterday. She was brutally gangraped and tortured by 6 men on a moving bus. As a young woman myself, represententing Indians in the commonwealth, i feel ashamed and appauled at the cruelty that this young girl had to endure. I cannot comprehend these sick and disgusting minds who have been capable of putting her through such torment and anguish! We should NOT let Damini lose her life in vain! A radical reform needs to take place within the justice system in India towards women and rape cases. These 6 men MUST be punished so that justice can be done. The future safety and respect for women must be secured - any woman should be able to travel freely without being scared. Please support me by signing this petition so that i can present it to the Indian officials through our MP'S, to convey our distress and outrage from the indians in the UK!
