The Nigerian government has continued to vote several billions of naira into initiatives for job creation/ financing Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises with no attempt ever made to review the initiatives.
MSME-ASI recently conducted a review of the past five years activities of the following agencies;
SMEDAN- Small & Medium Enterprises Development Agency of Nigeria
NDE- National Directorate of Employment
NEPC- Nigeria Export Promotion Council
ITF- Industrial Training Fund
DFD,CBN- Development Finance Department, Central Bank of Nigeria
The findings clearly indicate an absence of coordination and strategic framework for all the interventions previously and presently undertaken and hence our call for the review of all past job creation initiatives.

Every year they budget billions but our brothers are still sitting at home with no work. Enough is enough we need to see the proof of where the money went.
We need to know how past efforts have gone, in order to plan better
We need to know how the money was spent.
We need this review to ascertain what has gone wrong
Doing the same thing over and again, wouldn't change anything.
If we really want to do things right, then let's start now.

PLEASE audit these agencies. Nigeria is tired of seeing money disappear into thin air without creating real jobs for the youth.
