Fellow Nigerians and Lovers of Nigeria,

Please note that this is not a petition against Governor Sanusi, but a petition against plausible illegal monetary management by the CBN.

Please review the 2007 Act of CBN at the following link: http://www.cbn.gov.ng/OUT/PUBLICATIONS/BSD/2007/CBNACT.PDF

Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) is an apex Bank charged with specific responsibilities to ensure financial health of Nigeria. The mandates conferred on it by the relevant Acts, as amended in 2007 and prior, which serve as its legal framework are unambiguous.

None of those mandates permits the CBN to donate Nigerians' money in its custody to anyone or any group under any circumstance.

Section 34(a) of the 2007 Act of the CBN states that: "The Bank shall not --- engage in ---- undertaking, except as provided in sections 27 to 32 of this Act,  ----- in any other undertaking, except such interest which the Bank may in any way acquire in the course of the satisfaction of debts due to it-----" Has CBN violated this section of the 2007 Act?

It is alien to global practice of national apex Bank to function as a Father Christmas anywhere in the world.

Condoning such plausible discretional financial recklessness in Nigeria is tantamount to abetting plundering of the nation's resources in the name of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) or any other semantic to describe such.

If, and only if, you are against further misappropriation of Nigerians' money by the CBN and or its board members by illegally disbursing our money, please sign this petition.

This is a prelude to further action(s) targeted at stopping the CBN and or its board from further mismanagement of our money.

Long live Nigeria, long live Nigerians.

This is our money not their personal pocket. Stop spending it like it belongs to nobody. Enough is enough.
