The new regulations have been officially adopted to protect our large walleyes and I am honestly stunned that this actually happened. None of this would have been possible without your hard work because this win belongs entirely to all of you. Let's keep paying attention to the water to make …
Please sign this petition to create a better protective limit on the harvest of large walleyes on the Bay of Green Bay. Such as a 5 fish 15" minimum with only one over 23"
I checked the screen and saw that we hit 1,000 signatures tonight. I honestly thought I was just throwing an idea into the wind when I started this, so seeing this many people care about our walleye population truly humbles me. This movement belongs to all of you who took the time to read and sign.

I'm all for it! No reason to keep/kill those big breeders. Plenty of smaller walleye to eat for a meal. The price of a replica has come down considerably. No excuses! Come on DNR!!

I am strong believer in the slot, the biologist on the bay mistakenly compare this to Erie thinking this is an endless resource for walleyes without smart conservation. This fishery takes to much pressure in my opinion and a lot of others I know that fish this resource regularly.

This is a must for the future of fishing. My suggestion would be 3 fish total a day anything over 15 no longer than 22. And a tag just like deer hunting you are able to keep one fish a year with your tag over 30 inches for your trophy.

I support this 110%. We currently have an amazing fishery and people from all over the world are learning That. It's nothing to see 300- 400 boats out there. Launches are over flowing by 6am. We need to take care of this resource before its too late. I will do what I can to make sure this gets passed.

What an outstanding petition to help ensure one of the greatest Walleye fisheries to continue to positively grow & be sustained for future generations by not decimating the double digit aged Breeders that are 100% critical to sustain & maintain this fishery!!!
