We the citizens of Cole County would like to change and amend the noise ordinance of Cole County, Missouri to be similar to the "Nuisance" Exhibits (Article VII) of the City of Jefferson City
Simply put, we would like to chance the times that loud music and fireworks are allowed from 11pm CST to 10pm CST except for New Years Eve and the 4th of July.

I support this request and feel that it is respecting citizens who may have PTSD, sensory disabilities such as Autism which make the fireworks sound much louder if one does not have Autism which is anxiety inducing, and for those who have pets.
This was the worst year for fireworks. No one needs to be shooting fireworks @ 12:30 am. Plus the number of days allowed would also be great.
After 10 pm except New Years which should be illegal after 0030 am. Some people in public safety have to get some sleep and work
I would love to see this happen since 4th of July around here is two weeks BEFORE and two weeks AFTER

I support this petition. 1. It would allow all residents to enjoy the outdoors and not be forced indoors because of loud music or other noise or having to close their windows. 2. It would limit tension and potential conflict in the neighborhood. 3. It would be a step toward reducing noise pollution.
