Medgar Evers College is great place to work. We have a strong mission and history of working together for the good of the college and for the students. We do great work for our students. We are proud to be members of the faculty and employees of Medgar Evers College. During the tenure of the current leadership of the Faculty Senate, there has been consistent and intense efforts to spread lies and mistruths about the affairs at Medgar Evers College in and especially outside of our walls. We agree that people have a right to express their concerns and opinions. However, we are tired of people who say they represent the “Faculty” spreading falsehoods and bad press about Medgar Evers College. The current leadership of the Faculty Senate does not speak for us. We strongly repudiate their actions, and that of others who are aligned with these tactics. We call for them to stop this destructive and wasteful energy. Stop talking negatively about the College and who should be removed. Stop airing our business and the spreading distortions in the public forum. We must get to work on what we need to do to keep this College alive and make it better.
