Amidst the LA Times articles written without the inclusion of our voices, we, the faculty at Los Angeles Trade-Technical College would like to voice our support of Larry Frank as our college president by signing this petition. Instead of wasting time and energy on publicly slandering our colleagues and peers whose opinions or styles differ from our own, we choose to focus our efforts on educating our students and on programs that continue to drive our equity-focused mission forward with the purpose of social mobility, career advancement, and lifelong learning for our students.
Therefore, we the faculty of LATTC are deeply united in moving our college forward to continue our good work because we are invested in the success of our community.
We choose to celebrate one another’s successes. We choose to support and uplift each other. We choose not to tear each other down in order to rise up ourselves. We believe that our good work will speak for itself. We believe the whole is greater than the sum of its parts, and together we know that we can move forward. We need this. Our students need this.
Therefore, we sign this petition in support of Larry Frank as our College President. We recognize the many innovative opportunities and resources that President Frank has helped establish and supported on this campus as our college leader, and we trust that under his guidance, our faculty will continue doing the great work that transforms the lives of our students and our community.

Larry Frank ranks among the very best of the ten presidents I have served under here at Trade. I fully support his retention as president.
Thank you for the opportunity to increase transparency and move the College forward. Larry Frank has supported our Library during his tenure.
I have faith in Larry Frank as president of Trade Tech. He has demonstrated fidelity as a facilitator of the voices of the unheard and disempowered at the college and the several years under his leadership has changed the college dramatically.
As an occasional instructor at Trade Tech (in addition to my regular teaching UCLA grad students at the Luskin School of Public Affairs) I am proud to support Larry Frank--Larry is an exceptional leader who has turned around LA Trade Tech into a dynamic community college, anchored in the community and in labor-- advancing the opportunities particularly of Los Angeles's majority minority population.
I have been blessed to have Larry Frank as my President. During my nine years at Trade when Larry arrived to our college, it was a rebuilding period. He has improved our campus tremendously. I have full confidence in his leadership.
Larry Franks has been an ambassador for Los Angeles. We need him to continue the innovation and leadership for LATTC CAMPUS. His diplomacy with community and industry partners is essential to the overall success of the LATTC
Although I'm a Year too late. I had to sign still. Your an Amazing, Loving. Kind Hearted Man Larry. You believed in me even when I couldn't see my future because it was covered with a dark cloud. I wish you and your family the best as you have always wished for mine.
