We, the undersigned, are concerned students of Eton College who wish to allow students within F Block to use the fitness room/gym (i.e. where the exercise machines and weights are located) on the ground floor of the Gymnasium.

Although there exist a wide variety of sports facilities available for F Blockers to utilise, many have expressed a desire to use the exercise machines and weights for a variety of purposes, all falling under the general theme of physical fitness. The exercise machines provide a very direct way of altering one's muscular and skeletal strength - something most of us would find extremely useful.

We propose that in order to avoid any potential accidents or mishaps that could occur, instructions on how to operate the machines should be available (if not already), and F Blockers new to the fitness room should be heavily encouraged to ask for assistance from a master in the Gymnasium.
