On behalf of UPH-Meriter Perioperative Services, we ask that you allow a late addition to the 2025 SEIU/Meriter bargaining team.
For decades, PeriOp has had a seat at the table, but during the 2025 nomination process the assumed representative had a last minute change in circumstance and withdrew their name. This last minute change was unknown to most of PeriOp until it was too late to add another candidate. We feel it’s important to have our voices heard at the bargaining table, representing not only PeriOp but also all bargaining team members along side our colleagues during the 2025 bargaining to fight for a fair and equitable contract for all!
Please see this petition as a request from the Perioperative nursing staff to allow us to make a new candidate recommendation to add to the current bargaining team roster.

I really did not think this would gain so much speed which is honestly just incredible to see. It feels like everyone is finally realizing that the PeriOp perspective is not just a nice to have but a total necessity for this bargaining team to even function right.

PLEASE let us get our person on the list. We have way too much at stake to be left out.
