Petition opposing the rezoning of 755 N Lafayette Street to allow an ADU
Dear Denver Planning Board,
We, the undersigned residents, write to oppose the rezoning of 755 North Lafayette Street to allow an Accessory Dwelling Unit (ADU).
755 North Lafayette Street sits in a historic single-family neighborhood with both large and small homes. It is across the street from the Doud-Eisenhower Home. Rezoning in this neighborhood to add ADUs is unprecedented. Rezoning, and the resulting change, would significantly affect the character and integrity of the 7th Avenue Historic District.

I have finalized the formal objection letter for the Denver Planning Board. We are currently coordinating with neighborhood association leaders to ensure our presentation at the upcoming hearing remains focused on the historical integrity of the district.

The volume of support gathered indicates that this matter requires a formal review by the zoning committee. I am currently preparing the documentation to present these concerns at the upcoming public hearing.

Ridiculous idea. The streets are already crowded enough with cars as it is. Fix the parking before even thinking about adding more units.
Enough with the rezoning. We moved here for the single family vibe and thats what we want to keep.
THEY ARE LITERALLY ACROSS FROM THE DOUD-EISENHOWER HOME. DO BETTER DENVER.
Keep our neighborhood historic. We dont need more density here and this sets a bad precedent for the rest of the block.
this is a historic district for a reason. stop trying to ruin the character of our homes.
