WE the parents and teachers of the UNO Rogers Park FLIGHT
Program request the continuation of the FLIGHT Program for our students into
high school.
Our desire is to see the FLIGHT Program follow its students into high school for them to receive the same hands-on, real-world, and intensive instruction they receive in the grammar school Program. We request the program begin operation at the beginning fall semester of the 2014-2015 school year.

The momentum for our high school expansion is undeniable. This level of support proves how much this program matters to our families.

Schools with an inclusion model still need to provide appropriate classes for students with special needs, especially students who require more foundational, independent, self-care, and vocational skills. The FLIGHT program sounds like a great course for the special needs population in the Rogers Park area.
I sincerely hope that we can continue a FLIGHT program into the high school; the life- and academic skills I have seen them develop have been invaluable!

The stronger we make this program, the more likely we are to see it grow to serve students throughout Chicago.

UNO needs a program at the secondary level that stresses functional academics and independent living.
Schools with an inclusion model still need to provide appropriate classes for students with special needs, especially students who require more foundational, independent, self-care, and vocational skills.
