We, the employees of Olympic Ambulance, find the hiring of Sean Carr as the new B-shift Shift Supervisor to be unacceptable given his history of misconduct for which he was publicly dismissed from the Washing State Patrol. The recent discovery that he has allegations of sexual assault, rape, violence, and harrasment against him and understanding that some of these alligations come from more than one person further illuminates Sean Carr’s poor character.

Carr’s past misconduct against multiple women undermines the integrity of our branch, and erodes any feeling of safety or security for our female bodied employees. Carr’s pattern of abuse toward women from a position of authority is an immediate concern for his placement into another position of power over employees of our branch.
We the employees of Olympic Ambulance strongly disagree with the position of supervisor being given to someone of this character. We distrust his ability to govern himself, and act with integrity from a position of authority. We harbor great concerns over the well being of the female employees of this company. We do not feel a sense of safety in situations where we or our coworkers may be alone with Carr on an ambulance or in quarters, particularly at night where he has no direct supervision. As such, we believe Sean Carr is unfit for this position and sign this petition opposing his placement as B-Shift Supervisor. We will not allow this decision to go unchecked, and believe the safety and peace of mind for all employees of this branch should be this company’s top priority.

The feedback from coworkers over the past few days has confirmed that the desire for a safer workplace is shared across many departments. We are currently organizing our specific concerns into a formal document to present to leadership outside our immediate branch. This collective action is necessary to ensure our safety remains a priority for the organization.

The groundswell of support we have seen lately reflects a deep, shared commitment to maintaining a safe environment for everyone at this company. It is grounding to witness so many people recognize that true professional accountability must come before convenience.

It is unreasonable to hire someone with what the state patrol defined as "rape" allegations from only a few years ago for a supervisor position.
Placement of Mr. Carr poses a great safety risk to our fellow employees and to the vulnerable population of our patients, if he cannot be trusted to be a Police officer, I don’t trust him to be a supervisor, I believe the office of the B shift supervisor and the credibility of Olympic ambulance entirely would be undermined if he were to remain in power.

I strongly opposed Sean working in Mason county and fought that decision. I stand behind Olympic in this fight.

Guys he was fired a couple months ago from bremerton. Management finally figured out what he was up to - all the same things alleged in his WSP decertification. All of it. He's now a night shift ET tech at St. Jose's
