Petition for nomination to the DAC Board of Directors Bivens/Langdon
This is a petition to nominate Bill Bivens and Bob Langdon for consideration by the membership to the DAC Board of Directors.
Each year, the membership of the Denver Athletic Club (DAC) elects four members to the Board of Directors for a three-year term. A nominating committee of seven voting members of the DAC select who shall serve. This nominating committee is chosen by the past year's president.
If any other members wish to be considered for the Board, they must circulate a petition to have their names added to the ballot. Bill Bivens and Bob Langdon are interested in serving as your future board members and are therefore circulating this petition. This petition serves to provide a choice of candidates to the members of the DAC. By signing this petition you are not endorsing the candidates. You are agreeing to allow them to have their names on the ballot. Without your support, you will not have a choice in who represents you on the DAC Board of Directors.
We the undersigned, by written petition to the Secretary, wish to nominate Bill Bivens and Bob Langdon for consideration by the membership to the Denver Athletic Club Board of Directors.

Seeing the list grow so quickly reminds me exactly why Bill and Bob decided to run in the first place. You clearly want a real choice on the ballot, and this momentum proves that the membership is ready for a transparent election.

about time we had some fresh eyes on the board. these guys are the right choice
