Dear ATLA colleague,

I am requesting that you sign this online petition in support of adding David Stewart (Bethel University) to the 2015 slate of nominees for election to the ATLA Board (there are four positions to fill). There are already six good candidates, but I am asking that we add David as another excellent option for the upcoming vote.

I think David has qualities that we always need more of on the Board of Directors: deep experience as a library leader and publisher, extensive knowledge of the history of our field and association, and demonstrated commitment to theological librarianship as a ministry and scholarly discipline. Most importantly, David has agreed to be nominated in this way, and the Board of Directors has approved this online method of submitting a petition according to the Policy Manual.
