As stated in the the Pagosa Lakes Bylaws:
SECTION 8. Vacancies (a) Regular Vacancies - Nominations must be submitted by petition signed by at least twenty-five (25) Members in Good Standing. It must be submitted to the Association office not less than seventy-five (75) days prior to the Annual Meeting. It must be accompanied by a completed official Director Candidate application for nomination
Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, Pagosa Lakes POA will recognize this online petition as an acceptable means to collect signatures. You must be a PLPOA owner in good standing to sign the petition. Your electronic signature and ownership will be validated. Any unacceptable signatures will not be counted toward the minimum 25 signatures.

The PLPOA board is still digging in their heels but this pressure is forcing them to pay attention. I have been fighting their bureaucratic stalling tactics every single day because they are terrified of a real candidate running for office. Do not let them silence us while they keep control of our association.

The board members are already sweating because this surge in support proves they cannot ignore us anymore. They tried to keep the process locked behind their own red tape but we are breaking through their control.
