It is not too bad by my home but at my daughters along Ardmore Ave it is unbelievable and something has to be done
since the runaway became functional we have no peace night or day very upset about the situation,the people of harwood hts had not a chance to have an input,we pay lots of proprety taxes and we can not keep our windows open because of the noise day and nite,call the number to voice our compleing noneone call back.
The airport planes taking off and landing extremely loud noises has significantly disrupted and diminished my quality of life. I also fear for my life at times. The planes fly so low! My home shakes.
I replaced my windows when I bought the house 18 months ago because it was needed, now I can't even sleep with them open and am seriously questioning putting any more money into the house as the noise from above makes conversation impossible outside as well...makes me really sad I have to live in the city, this is just the icing on the cake...#heldhostage!
Not enjoying my neighborhood anymore, or the fact that I can no longer get a good night's rest. I feel that O'Hare should at least provide O'Hare neighborhood citizens with sound proofing. Just awful. Not looking forward to the additional runways.

The noise and vibrations have greatly increased from when I moved in 7 years ago.
