PETITION AGAINST THE ZONE CHANGE AT 415 HUNTINGTON DRIVE SAN MARINO
The city of San Marino is requesting to change zoning from R-1 residential to C-1 commercial so a developer can build nine condominiums on a 1 acre lot. Taking advantage of a law not intended for that purpose. R-1 zoning requires a 9,000 sf lot for building residences BUT C-1 zoning allows for building residences on 5,000 sf lots. The developer also requires a Variance in order to build the 3365 sf condominiums. This redevelopment will set precedence for future developments.
