The first 2 homes on the corner of Avenida Oriente and Etiwanda are being considered to be demolished and turned into buildings and parking lots. They are currently zoned R1 (residential) and want to have it changed to C2, commercial use. The developer wants to take the first house on the street and make it a building and the second house, a parking lot which will be mirrored on Etiwanda. There is already an on going issue on Avenida Oriente with a landlord who will NOT control the drug use, homeless wanderers and people hanging out and starting fights all happening in his parking lot. The patrons for his building park up and down Avenida Oriente already, which crowds the residential street around it and leeds to more traffic of unidentified people.
