Petition Against Early Release of a Convicted Rapist in in our Community
Last year, we called on our community to stand with us in objecting to the possible parole of Le Roy Anderson, a convicted rapist who has served only a portion of his sentence. Today, we are forced to make that call again — the parole process is underway, and we need your voice.
If granted parole, Mr. Anderson will be released into our small, close-knit community, where both the victim and their family still reside. This raises serious concerns about safety, justice, and the well-being of women, girls, and survivorsin our midst.
The threat of reoffending is real, and the psychological impact on the victim and their family cannot be ignored. We believe early release in this case undermines justice and disregards the safety of the very community meant to be protected.
We were only recently informed of the upcoming parole hearing, and we must act swiftly. All objections must be submitted BY SUNDAY, 11 MAY MIDNIGHT!

We vehemently oppose the early release of this vicious rapist. If he is let out it will cause widespread fear and unrest in the community, as well as in our family of mainly women. Could we so therefore implore you to keep him behind bars for the full sentence which the judge deemed appropriate.
The atrocious actions of Le Roy Anderson warrant very severe punishment. The impact of his disgusting, callous crime on my dear friend has been utterly appalling. He is a grave danger to society, and the law should recognize this and respond accordingly. This man should not be released.
As the victims sister, I know first hand how much damage this man is capable of doing. The community will not be safe with him in their midst so please ensure he stays locked away. It's in the interests of the entire village. Many thanks

Please show that you take the sexual violation of a person seriously & ensure that Mr L. Anderson serves his full sentence. We trust the authorities will do the right thing. Thank you.

Early release of a convicted rapist neither acts as a deterrent against further criminal acts, nor protects the victims rights to live out her life in peace and safety. This will have a devastating impact on our small community. Whose interests are served by this?
