5 Points Park was designed to be the central focus for activity in downtown Sarasota. As members of the Sarasota community we want to see live music and streets filled with activity. We want our neighborhood businesses to survive with foot traffic that events and live music brings. We do not want a city that ends urban core entertainment before midnight.

We are approaching one hundred signatures which serves as our baseline requirement for the upcoming commission review. Focus your efforts on direct outreach to local business owners to ensure we cross this threshold before the meeting.

PLEASE keep the music going. My kids love the events in the park. Its what makes this city actually fun to live in.
Total nonsense. Stop trying to turn downtown into a retirement home. We want life and music!
Who schedules a meeting at 3pm on a workday? They clearly dont want us to show up.
This is ridiculous. The park is the only reason I come downtown on weekends. Leave it alone!
Sarasota is dying as it is. Dont kill the park too. We need people downtown to keep the shops alive.
