Pendine Nursing Home in Gwersyllt employs nearly 400 staff and there are over 200 residents, the home is located within a rural area where the road infrastructure and pedestrian access is wholly inadequate in that the road is narrow and a stretch of the road has no pavement and as such it is an accident waiting to happen. We the undersigned call upon Wrexham Council to purchase a small amount of land so as to build a lit footway/pavement for a 450 metre stretch of the road where there is no footway or lighting at present. The reason for the improvement is road safety and to prevent accidents.
