Ymgyrch Perygl Penrhyn Campaign- Ffordd Ddiogel i bawb / Safe road for everyone
Rydym ni, sydd wedi llofnodi isod, yn ymgyrchu am FFORDD FWY DIOGEL ym Mhenrhyndeudraeth.
Dydd Iau 19/03/2015 cafodd bachgen ifanc ei daro drosodd gan gar ar ei ffordd i'r ysgol wrth drio croesi y Briffordd A487 ym Mhenrhyndeudraeth.
Mae'n rhaid i rai o'r plant groesi'r ffordd hon i fynd i'r ysgol (Adwy Ddu, MaesTeg, Maes Hendre, Trem Y Wyddfa, ac ati) .
Er bod croesfan ger Londis, mae dal angen croesi y gyffordd ger Meddygfa Bron Meirion- ffordd llawer prysurach pan fydd Pont Briwet yn ail-agor.
Mae hyn nid yn unig er LLES EIN PLANT ,ond POB PERSON SY'N BYW, GWEITHIO, neu'n YMWELD ar pentref.
RYDYM YN HAEDDU GWELL!
Rydym angen sicrwydd y bydd ein lleisiau yn cael ei clywed a chamau'n cael ei cymeryd gan yr Asiantaeth Cefnffyrdd i leihau y risg i hyn ddigwydd eto drwy sicrhau croesfan barhaol.
We, the undersigned, are now demanding a SAFER ROAD in Penrhyndeudraeth. A young boy was knocked over by a car on the busy main road A487 on 19/03/2015- we need to be reassured that our voices will be listened to and action taken by the Trunk Road Agency to minimise the risk of this happening again by providing a permanent crossing. Some school children must cross this road to attend school (AdwyDdu,MaesTeg,MaesHendre,TremYWyddfa,etc).
Although there is a crossing by the Londis, children still have to cross the junction by the Bron MeirionSurgery – a road that will get much busier when Pont Briwet reopens. This is not only for the sake of OUR CHILDREN but EVERY PERSON WHO LIVES, WORK or VISITS our Village.
WE DESERVE BETTER!

The silence from the authorities is exhausting but it only confirms that we have to keep pushing for this crossing. I am still here and still working to make sure the dangers at the junction near the surgery are finally acknowledged.

it is shocking that nothing has been done before, and that it has taken this accident to happen for anything to be done, having lived in adwy ddu all my life i know all to well the dangers of this road, having nearly been knocked over myself (more than once) and a friend of mine got knocked over crossing the road, it is lucky the car had just left a junction, and wasn't really going that fast, (which is another issue, when catching the bus, i was looking at the sign that warns people to slow down if they are doing over 30 mph, this flashed with all the trafic that whent past) so please do something soon before it's too late
Gwaethygu neith y sefyllfa ar ol Bont Briwet cael ei orffen. Angen cylchfan ar y sgwar yn bendant a chroesfan ddiogel wrth Garej Deudreath hefyd....a dim mewn blynyddoedd yn y dyfodol...RWAN!
It is a very dangerous road and should have a crossing as a lot of children walk that way as the council has deemed it safe for the children of minffordd and penrhyndeudraeth to walk to school ! How its safe I will never understand bring back the school buses !
I have to cross this road daily with my two children and it is awful. It's a very busy road and with cars parked either side adding to the danger.
something needs 2 b done asap!! Its a dangerous road at all times. Iv work their as a lollipop lady and sometimes worried about my own safety!! We need a proper crossing now,what happend shouldn't have happened,just glad Haydn is ok and wasn't seriously hurt.
We need a lollypop person NOW!
