We, the undersigned, are growing increasingly concerned by the speed of traffic along Pen Yr Eglwys road, and the impact that it is having on our safety - especially for those residents who need to exit adjourning streets.
We ask that RCT Council commits to fully investigating this situation and come up with proposals aimed at tackling this dangerous situation.

I am currently gathering documented reports of near misses from our neighbors to present to the council. The danger on Pen Yr Eglwys is clear to anyone who tries to pull out into traffic.

The momentum is incredible. This shows the council we are serious about slowing down traffic on Pen Yr Eglwys.

I agree that there are often cars driving up Pen Yr Eglwys at speeds significantly in excess of speed limit. I also have an issue in that my house is on Pen Yr Eglwys itself and we cannot often see past cars parked in the disused bus lay-by's outside our home to ensure there is no on-coming traffic.
I’ve had a number of close shaves over the years trying to get out of my street, only last Sunday I was given the V sign by two speeding cars that appeared to be together and speeding down Pen yr eglwys as I was trying to turn into my street. It’s only a matter of time before someone is seriously injured or killed.
Can be hazardous entering or exiting heol y foel when cars are travelling at excessive speed down pen Yr eglwys
The speed at which the cars travel along this road is dangerous - Sunday we almost saw a car flip over - driving to fast around the corner by the post box
Used as a speeding track for many many years about time something was done!
The speed of traffic on the road is getting worse and os extremely dangerous with th4 number of young children living in the area
You risk your life entering and exiting Heol y Foel due to the speed drivers of drivers using Pen-yr-Eglwys, knowing the road with little consideration for others.

We have live on the Meadow Farm estate now for 31 years, and the speeding problem has gradually got worse. To say it's all down to boy racers is not totally correct, as the speedsters are of of both sexes and all ages. Although I don't live in Heol Y Foel, I totally agree with the others about how dangerous the juntion is. I firmly believe ther is an accident there waiting to happen. For once can the council be proactive and agree to us having speed ramps laid please.
