The Petition of the people of Croydon declares that Andrew Pelling has served as an effective Member of Parliament for Croydon Central putting Croydon first and would serve Croydon well again if he were to be persuaded to stand for re-election in the upcoming General Election.
The Petitioners therefore request that the House of Commons uses the powers of the new Business Committee to table further debates on Parliamentary reform to allow discussion on the advantages of independence in the House.

I am currently drafting a formal letter to the Business Committee to request a debate on the specific merits of independent representation. The current signature count will be included in this submission to demonstrate local interest in these reforms.

The growth of this petition reached a point that now warrants formal correspondence with the Business Committee. I am drafting a letter to outline our request for a debate on parliamentary independence and will submit it for review by the end of the week.

Independence is what we need in parliament. Too many people just following their party blindly.
We need people like him in charge. tired of the same old party politics ruining everything for us.
Andrew is the best mp we ever had. he actually listens to us here in croydon.
bring him back. he was the only one who cared about what was going on in croydon central.
