The petition of the people of Croydon declares that Freedom Pass is essential to the quality of life of many Croydon residents, and that the change in funding of the Freedom Pass may compromise the scheme.
The Petitioners therefore request that the House of Commons urges the Government to take such steps as are necessary to ensure the scheme continues.
I have been hearing from so many of you about how vital this pass is for maintaining basic independence and staying connected to our community. The silence from the people in charge is frustrating but it only confirms why this fight is so necessary for all of us.

Seeing this level of support for the Freedom Pass reminds me why I started this fight in the first place. Watching my neighbors speak up for their independence gives me so much hope that we can actually protect this lifeline.
