We call upon the government to: 1. Limit the amount that can be lent, by a payday lender to one person, during a given period. 2. Restrict a borrower to one payday loan at a time (At present there is nothing to stop a person taking a loan from as many shops as they can get around in one day). 3. Limit the penalty charges defaulter’s charged by payday lending companies.
