We, the citizens of India, demand immediate action against illegal payday loan apps that are trapping people with 1% daily interest schemes, harassment, and exploitation.
Dozens of apps are openly exploiting borrowers, including:
Rupee112, SalaryOnTime, Salary Advance, Duniy Finance, Zapp Loans, Ram Fincorp, Lending Rupee, Easy Dhan, Credxpres, Sabka Loan, Surya Loan, Loan Pey, Salary Loan, Loan Hub, Instant Loan Pay, Cash My Payment, Day to Day Loan, Next Big Loan, Credit Pey, Jhatpat Loans, CreditSea, CreditWalle, MoneyWalle, LoanOne, Day and Night Loan, Rupee on Time, Cash Walle, Loanwithin, Salary4Sure, FastPaise, Dpal, Rupeelend, Digii Finance, Figiitech Lend, Xpressloan, Daksh Money, EasyRupee, LoanZap, Speedoloan, SalaryNow, CashMyPayment, EverydayLoanIndia, PaisaOnTime, and many more.
These apps lure people with instant cash but then push them into:
- 1% daily interest (365%+ yearly), far beyond RBI limits
- Harassment through WhatsApp and phone calls from fake recovery agents
- Threats and public shaming by contacting family, friends, and colleagues
- Illegal data misuse by accessing contact lists without consent
- Mental stress, health breakdown, and family disputes caused by continuous harassment
This is nothing but digital extortion. These apps are operating outside RBI’s framework and are exploiting ordinary citizens who fall into their trap during emergencies.
Our Demands
- RBI and Government of India must immediately ban all apps charging 1% daily interest.
- Criminal action against app operators and their recovery agents for harassment and extortion.
- Strict enforcement of digital lending guidelines and caps on interest rates.
- A dedicated helpline and grievance redressal system for victims of loan app harassment.
- Public awareness campaigns to protect people from predatory digital loan scams.
We urge the authorities to take swift and strict action before more Indian families are destroyed by these 1% loan exploitation traps.

Thery calls contacts in group aling with blackmailing and threatens even after paying
I have fallen in this debt trap. Currently I have stopped paying them and filed complaints against some of the apps. I urge Government to save our country from them and take strict action.
They are goons and involved in extortion even they abuse their clients and leak their confidential data
These payday loans are looting indians with 30% interest per month and needs to be stopped. Also the level of personal harrassment by contacting employers and lan lord etc is not even ethical.
Horrible harassment and unethical recovery means of these companies are ruining our professional and personal lives. Many are driven to suicide. Please help, we have got into this trap innocently out of need for money
I am also the person suffering with these loan apps. I was fully trapped and unable to come out. In a day they call 300-500 times and bcoz of that I am missing my interview calls and important calls. Calling my family, friends, relatives and shaming me in front of them reaching my office through emails and direct visit. Also reaching home taking all my peace. I request you please take some action on these apps.
