New parking restrictions around Paxton Drive BS3 2BN, have limited parking to ONE resident bay per household with ONLY an additional SEVEN visitor parking bays.

We propose parking restrictions be restructured so that parking is possible on sensible road areas, this will obviously exclude areas directly outside of building entrances for emergency purposes clearly highlighted with floor markings.

It is unacceptable for residents to be expected to park near Ashton Gate stadium and then walk across a poorly lit park. In this day and age one can only imagine the worse, regardless of age or sex.

With the amount of money residents pay to Remus we feel that this purposed restructure to be acceptable and achievable.

Coming home late at night to see the park so dark and empty feels more dangerous every single day. I have been spending my evenings drafting formal requests to Remus and I will update you as soon as they decide to acknowledge our situation.

Seeing this grow so quickly confirms that I am not the only one scared to walk home through that dark park after a long shift. My neighbors deserve better than these broken rules and I am humbled by how many of you feel the same way.

I am not happy with the new parking restrictions at Paxton Drive. We need more than seven parking bays. I feel it is no appropriate for residents and vistors to park near the football ground. I would not feel safe as a young woman walking through the unlit park at night time.

Agree and also that additional spaces should be found either end of the development as the planning guidance that restricted the original number of spaces is no longer in force.

I recently received a fine for parking outside my flat, £60!? I wasn't blocking another space or the road. It's crazy I pay enough to live here and shouldn't have to worry about where I can park. As long as people don't park in others bays or block the road what's the issue. Not many households have 1 or no cars these days

So as a man who uses a wheelchair I am expected to wheel across a park if I cannot park in a visitor space! Serious re-planning and some effort is needed by the management company who should have residents best interests.

The parking here is extremely stressful, I have to race back from UWE in order to make sure I can park around Paxton-Drive in fear of not walking miles to get home after an hour drive through traffic. As a solution could Remus not remove some of the bollards across the entrances to some of the blokes to create more visitor parking spaces.

I totally agree...however I just wanted to add the point that there isnt even one parking space per flat, only 'selected flats' have a space...therefore assuming that some households wouldnt have 1 car, let alone 2, which just isnt reality these days.
